7A. Face Lock & Biometric Security

Azolve may offer an optional or administrator-required security feature called Azolve Face Lock. Face Lock uses your browser camera, face detection, liveness movement checks, encrypted mathematical face templates, password-first sign-in, retry limits, and authenticator-app recovery to help confirm that the person signing in is the registered account holder.

By registering Face Lock, you confirm that you understand and consent to biometric identity verification for account security. You agree that your camera may be used during registration and login to detect a face, perform liveness checks such as movement or blink-style prompts, and compare the current face template with the encrypted template saved for your account. Azolve Face Lock is designed to process camera video in the browser and store an encrypted face descriptor/template instead of using the live video as your ordinary account record.

Face Lock is used after password verification. Existing users may be asked to register Face Lock before the feature is activated for their account. If face verification fails because of camera, lighting, device, or appearance issues, you may use supported authenticator-app recovery, such as Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, or another compatible TOTP app, where enabled. You are responsible for keeping your authenticator recovery method available and secure.

Administrators may enable or disable Face Lock requirements for their workspace where the product settings allow it. Face recognition is a security aid and may not be perfect in every environment. Azolve may deny access, require additional verification, or require account recovery if verification fails or suspicious activity is detected.
